Wall Height
The Distinction series trailer is offered in two wall-height configurations: the standard 82-inch height and an optional 84-inch height for those requiring additional cubic capacity.
Side Rails
The entire side rail component is vented aluminum, allowing any condensation or moisture to escape.
New Standard Feature
Positive feedback on the stainless steel inserts on all four corner posts has turned this into a standard feature for the upcoming model year, eliminating the need to select it as an optional upgrade.
Ladder System
At the rear of the trailer, one notable change is the redesigned ladder system. A fold-down ladder has been introduced. This ladder features a low entry point and an angled configuration for improved accessibility and ease of climbing. When not in use, the ladder folds away.
Tarp Hood Vents
Each tarp hood features vents at both the front and rear to stay up and out of the way, eliminating the need for sidewall vents. On the top of the trailer, a vent is mounted at the rear, directly above the lights.
Landing Gear
The aluminum Jost landing gear is standard on the Distinction series trailer. It features a galvanized insert and comes with a 10-year warranty and a 5-year maintenance-free package.
Hoppers
Each hopper chute frame features a stainless steel door, shafts, and a rack supported by an aluminum frame. Nylon rollers beneath the chute and replaceable wear strips on the top of the gate ensure smooth operation and longevity. An optional feature available for the hoppers is a stainless steel vibrator bracket that is mounted between the first and second stiffeners.
Lighting
Truck-Lite supplies all lighting, and three lighting packages are available to suit your needs.
Available lighting configurations include the DOT-required standard package, a three-light package, and a five-light package. Oval lights on top of the trailer are standard in all packages.
Two different light sizes are available on this specific trailer: the Model 33 penny light and the Model 22 brick light.
Regardless of the lighting package selected, the three rear lights in the center function as high-mount brake lights, while the two lights on the sides serve as signal lights, improving visibility and safety. The lower three lights operate as clearance lights, with the outermost lights also functioning as brake and signal indicators.
Air Gauge Box
Inside the air gauge box, you will find an air gauge indicator giving the pressure reading, as well as an option to have an air chuck inside the box.
Fenders
The 2026 Distinction Super-B offers two fender options: a flat or half-round fender, available in stainless steel or poly.
Additionally, we have replaced the previous tube-style mount, which was prone to collecting rocks and stone chipping. Instead, we now use a stub shaft mounted onto a stainless steel bracket. This bracket is bolted directly to the frame, eliminating another stone-chipping and rust area.
Furthermore, if you damage a fender, it’s now much easier to install a new one.
Entry Point Access
Behind the first axle is the entry point to the rear of the grain trailer, featuring a staircase for easy access. This allows easy access to the back of the lead trailer or the front of the pull trailer.
Airlines
Another improvement is in the catwalk between the two trailers. The airlines now run beneath the trailer, eliminating the tripping hazard that could be a possibility in the walkway.
Suspension and Wheel Options
We offer several different Hendrickson Intraax suspensions. Standard on all Distinction hopper trailers is the Henrickson Intraxx 23K Suspension.
The Hendrickson TIREMAAX Pro Inflation System is an excellent option for improved tire life. This system ensures that all tires remain at a consistent pressure.
